Two Dimensional Projective Point Matching
نویسندگان
چکیده
Point matching is the task of finding a set of correspondences between two sets of points under some geometric transformation. A local search algorithm for point matching is presented, and shown to be effective at solving problems where the point sets are related by a projective transformation. Random starts local search is shown to be capable of solving very difficult point matching problems, and a heuristic key feature algorithm is presented which can substantially improve the effectiveness of local search in most

Flag-transitive Point-primitive symmetric designs and three dimensional projective special linear groups
The main aim of this article is to study (v,k,λ)-symmetric designs admitting a flag-transitive and point-primitive automorphism group G whose socle is PSL(3,q). We indeed show that the only possible design satisfying these conditions is a Desarguesian projective plane PG(2,q) and G > PSL(3,q).
متن کاملFeature Point Matching of Stereo Images by using a Projective Invariant
In Image-Based Modeling, which reconstructs 3-dimensional structures and extracts a texture from 2-dimensional images, one of the greatest problems is to match feature points of two images. The well-known template matching is used for automatically relating individual points in different images. However, since it matches each image in which a viewpoint position differs, incorrect feature points...
متن کامل3D Classification of Urban Features Based on Integration of Structural and Spectral Information from UAV Imagery
Three-dimensional classification of urban features is one of the important tools for urban management and the basis of many analyzes in photogrammetry and remote sensing. Therefore, it is applied in many applications such as planning, urban management and disaster management. In this study, dense point clouds extracted from dense image matching is applied for classification in urban areas. Appl...
متن کاملChapter 1 PROJECTIVE JOINT INVARIANTS FOR MATCHING CURVES IN CAMERA NETWORKS
A novel method is presented for distributed matching of curves across widely varying viewpoints. The fundamental projective joint-invariants for curves in the real projective space are the volume cross-ratios. A curve in m-dimensional projective space is represented by a signature manifold comprising n-point projective joint invariants, where n is at least m + 2. The signature manifold can be u...
متن کاملA Direct Method for Estimating Planar Projective Transform
Estimating planar projective transform (homography) from a pair of images is a classical problem in computer vision. In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm for direct registering two point sets in R using projective transform without using intensity values. In this very general context, there is no easily established correspondences that can be used to estimate the projective transform, an...
